Fiat is beginning the introduction of the 500e to North America with the RED Edition. You can charge your all-electric car at public fast charging stations with the Mode 3 Cable that is included. The 2019 Fiat 500e is a two-door, pure electric hatchback sold in a single, well-equipped trim. In 35 minutes, the 500 La Prima will reach 80% battery charge. ![]() The new electric 500 La Prima can be fast charged at high 85kw, allowing a 30 mile* range with a 5 minute charge. Simply connect your smartphone to the 10.25" display and then you can use all of your apps straight from the touch-screen and without putting yourself or your passengers at risk. Android Auto™ connectivity is also available. In order to use Apple CarPlay in the safest way possible, you can use the touch-screen or Siri voice control. With Apple CarPlay, you can send and receive messages, make calls, get directions, listen to your favourite music playlists and more, without having to take your focus off the road. Always stay connected thanks to the ultra-fast Bluetooth pairing and wireless mobile charger. The Passion model features a Radio 7” with Wireless Apple CarPlay / Android Auto. These are available on the La Prima and Icon Models. It will compete directly with cars like the Mini Cooper SE (55,650 before on-roads) but is closely priced to larger EVs like the BYD Atto 3 Extended Range. The all-electric city car features a new Cinerama Infotainment system that comes with a 10.25" display and a 'smartphone-like' interface with a fully customisable screen layout, which will make it easier for you to use your infotainment system. Priced from 52,500 AUD before on-road costs, the new Fiat 500e will be available in one ‘La Prima’ hatch trim when it arrives in Australian showrooms between July and September 2023. If the driver does not respond, the car system will break the car for you. If it looks like the car is going to collide with a pedestrian, cyclist or vehicle, the car will alert you with a visual and audio warning on the instrument cluster. The new 500e La Prima will brake automatically in order to avoid a collision with pedestrians, cyclists or other vehicles that are moving up to 80 mph. Once you have used the steering wheel controls to set the speed and distance, the system will also autonomously keep the set distance from the vehicle that is in front of you (when over 18 mph), it will keep you in the centre of a lane (when over 37 mph) and it will stop when other traffic does. It will also be the first small car to have Level 2 Autonomous Driving, which will result in a higher level of safety for city mobility.ĭesigned to make your travels smoother, the new 500e will read the road signs that are on a particular road, and it will recommend the speed that you should be driving at.
